Music Video Production
Creative direction, location scouting, and post-production editing for a music video filmed in Budapest
Challenge
This was my first time heading a music video production where I was responsible for everything except the camerawork. I had to manage creative direction, location scouting, scheduling, and post-production—all in completely unfamiliar surroundings in Budapest.
A major challenge was finding stunning locations that matched the video's concept while keeping unwanted people out of the shots. The production needed to maintain visual consistency across multiple locations and multiple shoot days.
Solution
I invested time in scouting multiple locations across Budapest, finding visually stunning spaces that told the story we wanted. Once locations were confirmed, I organized the film days, scheduling shoots during times when there would be fewer people in public spaces.
To deal with the challenge of unwanted people in shots, we filmed primarily during nighttime hours when locations were less crowded. In post-production, I carefully edited and color-corrected the footage, using masking techniques to remove any remaining people from key scenes while maintaining the visual integrity of the final product.
